SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the November 18, 2004 City Council
meeting, the Airport Advisory Committee recommended approving the appointment of John Seevers to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2006, and the reappointment of Gordon Eccles
to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2007. The Airport Manager recommended approving the appointment of Dwight Utz to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2006, and to
reappoint Gordon Eccles to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2007.
The City Council Approved the reappointment of Gordon Eccles to serve a term on the Airport Advisory Committee
set to expire on January 31, 2007, and temporarily extended the term of Jerry Robinson until the City Council and Airport Advisory Committee could conduct a work session.
The City
Council and Airport Advisory Committee are planning on conducting a joint work session during the regular Committee meeting on December 2, 2004, after which the Council will make a determination
of which candidate to appoint to the open committee seat.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the appointment of a Committee candidate to serve a term on the Airport Advisory Committee
set to expire on January 31, 2006.

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Recently, the Airport Advisory Committee
advertised two vacant seats on the committee and received seven letters of interest. The Airport Advisory Committee reviewed the letters of interest and the terms for the vacant seats.
The Airport Advisory Committee recommends approving the appointment of John Seevers to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2006, and the reappointment of Gordon Eccles to serve
a term set to expire on January 31, 2007.
The Airport Manager recommends approving the appointment of Dwight Utz to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2006, and to reappoint
Gordon Eccles to serve a term set to expire on January 31, 2007.
Attached are the letters of interest submitted by the seven candidates.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the appointment
