SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Two firms have submitted proposals for the Water Storage Tank engineering and construction management project.
Bill Keating and Lindley Kirkpatrick have reviewed the submitted proposals and based upon the established criteria and procedures to determine the most qualified firms to perform
the work, have created the following list of qualified firms ranked in order of preference:
Pharmer Engineering Inc.
J-U-B Engineers Inc.
Staff is proposing to negotiate with the
highest ranked firm to secure a contract at a reasonable price based upon the value, scope, complexity, and nature of the services required. If a reasonable price is unable to be obtained,
negotiations with the next highest ranked firm will begin.
The proposals are lengthy and not included as attachments to this agenda bill. They are available for review from the
City Clerk.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct staff to negotiate a contract agreement with the highest ranked firm to perform engineering and construction management services
for the Water Storage Tank.
