1. Call to order
Meeting was called to order at 9:56 a.m.
2. Old Business – N/A
3. New Business – Review of IBC Amendments & Significant Changes
The committee discussed the Significant Changes to Chapters 20 through 35 of the 2018 IBC, as published
by ICC.
A motion was made by Ms. Stitt to exclude the changes in Section 3001.2 regarding visual/text
communication requirements in elevators. Mr. Faddoul seconded. The motion passed unopposed.
The changes in Section 3113 regarding relocatable buildings were discussed, especially as they pertain to
temporary jobsite offices. This item was tabled for further discussion at a subsequent meeting.

5. Next meeting date
Next Meeting is scheduled for August 5, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Material to be reviewed at this meeting
includes the Significant Changes to the 2018 IFC.
