1. Call to order
Meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m.
2. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by Charles Skornia and seconded by Emad Faddoul to approve the minutes
of the July 28, 2021 meeting.
3. Old Business
a. R401.4 – Soil Tests – Committee decided to leave as is.
4. New Business - 2018 IRC Review
a. Chapter 11 - Energy Efficiency – The committee decided to present this section of the
code to the Homebuilders Association, (HBA). Matt will ask eConsultants of Columbia to
make a presentation regarding ways to save energy and money. The committee will take
the HBA discussion under advisement and continue discussion of this chapter at a later
meeting.
5. Next meeting date – Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Discuss IRC Appendices and
Swimming Pool & Spa Code
