SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On February 10, the Planning & Zoning Commission conducted
a properly noticed public hearing on the attached draft ordinance amending the Zoning Code, Title 3 of the McCall City Code.
Currently, the maximum building height for all structures
is 35'. There are exceptions for church steeples, antennae, and other unoccupied structures.
The amendment allows occupied structures taller than 35 feet as a conditional use in the
Central Business (CB), Commercial (C), General Commercial (GC) and Industrial (I) districts. No maximum height is established.
Also attached is correspondence received on this issue.
The
Commission recommends that this draft Ordinance be adopted by the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Suspend the rules and read Ordinance ___ one time only, by title only.
Adopt
Ordinance ___ and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
