SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Mr. Lindsay would
like to assign his current lease agreement over to Mr. and Mrs. Gerblick. Mr. & Mrs. Gerblick would like to assume all rights and privileges associated with this lease agreement. The
request was received by the Airport Manager after the last AAC meeting. The current lease holder is requesting an answer right away in order to preserve the deal. The Airport Manager
contacted a majority of the members of the Airport Advisory Committee and they support the request. Under the lease agreement, the City cannot unreasonably withhold consent for an assignment
for the lease. Based on this, the Airport Manager recommends the City Council approve the assignment.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Lease transfer and authorize the Mayor to
sign the assignment and assumption of lease.
