SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In the Fall of 03’ the McCall Municipal Airport applied for a Hazardous Fuels
Reduction Grant to be used for the area north of the airport within the runway protection zone and land adjacent to the cemetery. The scope of the project would be for clearing the
underbrush and lying timber that present a hazard to the airport and surrounding community.
Recently, the Airport was awarded a grant of $ 16,800 from the Idaho Department of Lands
incorporation with the USDA Forest Service. The grant number for the project is 04SFA 16 which will expire on August 30, 2006, unless extended.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the
grant and authorize the Mayor to sign the grant.
