SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Police Department applied for an Edward Byrne grant in March, 2004 and was awarded one of five grants given
statewide. The funds will allow the MPD to purchase law enforcement software to enable interfacing with Valley County's crime database and dispatch records, and improve reporting to
the State of Idaho and FBI; and to purchase a new intoxilyzer to improve evidence gathering in alcohol related crimes.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the grant award and authorize the
Mayor to sign the acceptance documents.
