SUMMARY STATEMENT: Jamie Shropshire notified me today (June 7th) that she has accepted a position with the City of Lewiston and would
follow up with a written resignation. Based on this, Council has the option of conducting a solicitation process using the attached Request for Qualifications, identifying an attorney
or law firm without an RFQ and negotiating an agreement, or hiring an attorney as an employee. The last time the City changed City Prosecutors the Council used the RFQ process.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION: Direct staff to publish the attached RFQ.
