SUMMARY STATEMENT:
There is currently a vacancy on the
Planning & Zoning Commission. The seat is reserved for an Impact Area resident, and was previously held by Connie Ruyle. P&Z terms are for three years. Mrs. Ruyle’s term would have expired
in January, 2005.
The position has been advertised several times in the Star-News, discussed by the Council and P&Z, and the P&Z members have been searching for a replacement.
Robert
Youde has expressed interest in being appointed. No other Impact Area residents have come forward. See the attached letter and resume from Mr. Youde.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct
the Mayor to appoint Robert Youde to the Planning & Zoning Commission, to a term expiring on January 31, 2008.
