The ramp project is still under contract. The contractor ran into issues getting concrete that would meet FAA specifications and hopes to resume the project by March of 2022. The city has been contacted and begun discussions with a group that would like to put on an airshow in the future at the Jefferson City Airport . Mr. Smith discussed the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and mentioned the number one priority on the list is the Airport Control Tower.
