SUMMARY STATEMENT:
An advertisement for bid has been published for the Treated Water Storage Pump Station Project. The project consists of the removal and replacement of two vertical turbine pumps,
piping, electrical and controls. The equipment is used to fill the water storage tank from the Water Treatment Plant. A pre-bid conference was held on May 26th and was attended by
one contractor. The bid opening will be held on June 7, 2005. A list of the bid amounts will be provided at the City Council Meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract
to apparent lowest responsible bidder and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
