ATTENDEES:
Committee members present: Erin Wiseman, Laura Ward, Hank Vogt, Jon Hensley

Meeting came to order at 7:30 a.m. by Councilmember Erin Wiseman. The October 6, 2021 minutes were
approved with a motion by Councilmember Laura Ward, and seconded by Councilmember Jon Hensley. The
motion passed unanimously.
Merit Pay Salary Adjustment: Steve asked for clarifications from council regarding his and the Parks and
Recreation Director’s ability to give merit pay increases in addition to the across-the-board increase included in
the budget. Ryan Moehlman discussed the wording and his professional opinion of the direction given by charter
and the personnel policy manual. After a lengthy discussion, Councilmember Jon Hensley made the motion to
forward the request to the full council for further discussion. Councilmember Hank Vogt seconded the motion.
The motion passed 4-0.
Appointments: Presented by Gail Strope. The committee made four new appointments. A motion to approve
was made by Councilmember Laura Ward and seconded by Councilmember Jon Hensley. The motion passed 4-
0.

There being no further business, Councilmember Erin Wiseman ended the meeting at 8:41 a.m.
