Regular Meeting
Minutes
June 16, 2021 4:00 PM Greencastle City Hall & Zoom
I. Pledge Allegiance
II. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 4:10 PM; upon roll by Clerk
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: William Dory, Craig
Tuggle and Trudy Selvia.
III. Interview with Police Officer Candidates-Jensen Clement and Seth
Doddie Bryan- The first interview was held with Ms. Clement from 4:11-4:19
p.m. The second interview was held with Mr. Doddie from 4:20-4:30 p.m.
Questions were asked by Bill Dory, Trudy Selvia and Craig Tuggle.
IV. Special Requests- None
V. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — May 19, 2021
Motion by Craig Tuggle to approve all the minutes presented, second by Bill
Dory, 2-0, motion carried. Trudy Selvia abstained since she missed the
meeting.
VI. Approval of Claims
A. Water - Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve the Water Claims as presented,
second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
B. Wastewater-Motion by Craig Tuggle to approve the Wastewater Claims as
presented, second by Trudy Selvia, 3-0, motion carried.
VII. Department Reports
A. Fire Department — John Burgess
B. Planner— Scott Zimmerman
C. Police Department — Tom Sutherlin
D. Department of Public Works — Brad Phillips
E. Water & Wastewater Department — Oscar King
F. City Attorney - Laurie Robertson Hardwick
G. Park and Recreation — Rod Weinschenk

A. Hiring New Police Officer- Motion by Trudy Selvia to hire Seth Doddie
pending the approval of his PERF physical, second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0,
motion carried.
X. Adjournment
Motion by Trudy Selvia to dismiss at 4:42 PM, second Craig Tuggle,
3-0, motion carried.
