SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Estimates for the rehabilitation of the Old McCall Jail have been solicited. The scope of work is attached. Three estimates
have been received: Howlin' Wolf Construction: $1250; Travis Construction: $4,410; and Michael C. Longmire: $9,984. Howlin' Wolf Construction gave the lowest estimate, but has
indicated that it is unavailable to do the work this summer. Staff recommends that the contract be awarded to Travis Construction, with work to commence after July 1, 2005. The City
Attorney has reviewed and approved the contract document.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 05-11 awarding the contract to Travis Construction, and authorize the Mayor to sign
all related documents.
