RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON- TO-PERSQN/PLACE-TO-PLACE
TRANSFER OF A.B.C. LICENSE NO. 1201-33-032-010
FROM: POLHAMUS, LLC. TO: ALBOB, INC.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor mld Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by A1bob, Inc. for a Person-to-
Person! Place-to-Place Transfer of ABC License #1201-33-032-010 from Polhamus, LLC
present holder of same, premises Jocated at 4 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey and
said licensee has consented to assign their rights to said 1icense to the aforesaid applicant,
Albob, Inc., located at 684 Lewis Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application for transfer was du1y advertised in the
Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulatcd in the Borough of Carteret and no
objections, either verbally or in writing, were filed or made to the Governing Body or to
the Municipal Clerk regarding said transfer; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the source
of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all
additional financing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
WHEREAS, the application fornl is comp1ete in all respects and the applicant is
qualified to be licensed according to a]] standm"ds established by Title 33 of the New
Jersey Statutes, promulgated· thereunder, as we]] as pertinent local ordinances and
conditions consistent with Title 33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough ofCarteret, County of Midd1esex, State of New Jersey, that ABC
License #1201-33-032-010, heretofore granted to PoJhamus, LLC, be and the same is
hereby tr3l1sferred to the applicant, Albob, Inc., 684 Lewis Street, Woodbridge, New
Jersey to sell alcoholic beverages in confornlity with the laws, statutes, ru1es and
regu1ations of the State .of New Jersey and with the res01utions, ordinances, ru1es and
regulations of the Borough of Cmieret relating to and concerning said license and to be
held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the endorsement of this Person-to-Person! Piace-to-Place Transfer on
behalf of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton,New Jersey 08625-
0087.
