SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Each year the McCall Municipal Airport is entitled to receive grant money from the FAA up to $150,000.00 for Airport Improvement Projects (AIP). The grant funding consists
of 95% of the total project expenditure and the City of McCall and State of Idaho each contribute 2.5% in matching funds. The matching funds from the State of Idaho can total as much
as $3947.00. If the money is not used in the assigned fiscal year it is put back into the non-primary entitlement fund and that amount, along with the next year’s allocation is available
for use. The attached document for grant money to be used in FY 2005 was not used. The attached grant agreement and Resolution needs to be signed by the Mayor and returned to the ITD.
The McCall Airport will be eligible to use these funds in FY 2006.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 05-16 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
