SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Police
Department and the Valley County Sheriff’s Department have created a Memorandum of Understanding to address the merging of the Valley County Sheriff Department and McCall Police Department’s
records into a shared records management software system. This Memorandum of Understanding is a requirement of the Edward Byrne grant which was awarded by the State of Idaho Planning,
Grants & Research Bureau. The proposed MOU (attached) was forwarded to the respective attorneys for review, and is being presented to Council in the format recommended by the respective
attorneys.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Memorandum of Understanding with the Valley County Sheriff’s Department and authorize the Mayor to sign.
