SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A selection committee comprised of the AAC, the Community Development Director and the
Airport Manager, selected the team of Toothman-Orton (engineering) and Mead Hunt (planning)
as the new airport consultants after interviewing four applicants. Subsequent notification of this
selection to the FAA (Seattle ADO) was well received. The City Council needs to confirm this
selection. The airport manager is currently negotiating the final details of the contract which will
be provided at the Council meeting and attached to Resolution 05-17.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 05-17 approving the contract with Toothman-Orton as the Airport
Engineer and Mead Hunt as the Airport Planner (to develop a new master plan only).
