RESOLUTION 92 -3134
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING A MODIFICATION OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 86 -797, A REQUEST BY
GARDEN INN MOTEL TO ALLOW THE EXISTING GROUND
SIGN, SERVING THE GARDEN INN MOTEL, TO BE
ELEVATED ON A MONUMENT -TYPE PEDESTAL TO A
MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 12 FEET, 6 INCHES AT 5318
ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD IN THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL
(C -2) ZONE. (GARDEN INN MOTEL)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed
public hearing before the City Council and upon the facts con-
tained in the staff report and testimony received at a noticed
public hearing before the Planning Commission and findings enu-
merated in the Planning Commission Resolution, the City Council
approves the request with an additional condition that the exist-
ing wall signage be removed. The conditions contained in Plan-
ning Commission Resolution No. 92 -1640 shall also remain in
effect.
SECTION 2. Accordingly, Modification of Conditional Use
Permit 86 -797 is approved.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of
original resolutions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON MARCH 17, 1992.

Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of March,
1992, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember - Froehle, Manning, McGowan, Wilson
NOES: Councilmember - Breazeal
