I. Pledge Allegiance
II. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM; upon roll by Clerk
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: William Dory, Craig
Tuggle and Trudy Selvia.
III. Special Requests- None
IV. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — August 18, 2021
Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve all the minutes presented, second by
Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
V. Approval of Claims
A. Water - Motion by Craig Tuggle to approve the Water Claims in the amount
of $92,177.13, second by Trudy Selvia, 3-0, motion carried.
B. Wastewater-Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve the Wastewater Claims in
the amount of $37,018.31, second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0, motion carried.
VI. Department Reports
A. Fire Department— John Burgess
B. Planner— Scott Zimmerman
C. Police Department —Tom Sutherlin
D. Department of Public Works — Brad Phillips
E. Water & Wastewater Department — Oscar King
F. City Attorney - Laurie Robertson Hardwick

A. Resolution 2021-1 Resolution Amending the Greencastle Fire
Department Standard Operating Guidelines- Motion by Trudy Selvia to
approve Resolution 2021-1 as presented, second by Craig Tuggle, 3-0,
motion carried.
B. 2021 Sidewalk Project- Motion by Craig Tuggle to accept the lowest bid
from Spiker Excavating in the amount of $85,000, second by Trudy Selvia,
3-0, motion carried.
C. Toddson Sewer Line- Move to Next Month's Agenda
D. OCRA Grant Admin. Contract- No Action Taken
IX. Adjournment
Motion by Craig Tuggle to dismiss at 4:50 pm, second Bill Dory,
3-0, motion carried.
