ENDORSING PARTICIPATION IN DCA SMART FUTURES GRANT
PROGRAM FORA WATERFRONT FERRY PARKING STUDY'
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to apply for and obtain a grant from the
New Jcrsey Department of Community Affairs Smart Futures Grant Program for
approximately $80,000.00 to carry out a project to conduct a comprehensive Waterfront
Ferry Park Study as set forth in the Borough's formal grant application.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED,
I) that' the Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize the application for such
grant; and
2) recognizes and accepts that the Department may offer a lesser or greater
amount and therefore, upon receipt of the grant agreement from the Ncw
Jersey Department of Community Affairs, does further authorize the
execution of any such grant agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully
executed agreement from the Depmimcnt, does further, authorize the
expenditure of funds pursuant to the tem1S of the agreement between Borough
ofCaJieret and the New Jersey Depaliment of Community Affairs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles, and signatures
appear below are authorized to sign the application, and that [bey or their successors in
said titles are, authorized to sign the agreement, and any other docum'ents necessary in
connection therewith:
