HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 92-31431 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 92 -3143 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING HOLIDAYS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2354 of the Temple City Municipal Code, the holidays established for the City of Temple City are as follows: All employees shall be entitled to the following legal holidays. New Years Day Presidents Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Day One Floating Holiday Two Additional Floating Holiday to be designated by Council Any day appointed by the President or Governor as a public holiday, subject to the approval of the City Council and any other designated by the Council. When a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday will be the official day off; when a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be the official day off. SECTION 2. The two floating holidays to be designated by Council for Fiscal Year 1992 -1993 shall be Monday, July 6 and Thursday, December 24. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
