A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE EASEMENT AS SHOWN ON THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION DIRECTOR'S DEED DK 58187 -2 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF
CITY WATER FACILITIES AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO SIGN THE
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood maintains facilities within the Caltrans right -of-
way of the 1 -105 Freeway; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans has offered the City an easement to maintain these
facilities; and
WHEREAS, this easement is needed by the City to maintain its facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : That the City Council does hereby accept the easement offer from
the State of California Department of Transportation, District No. 7 as shown on
Director's Deed DK 58187 -2.
Section 2 : That the City Engineer is authorized to prepare and sign the
Certificate of Acceptance and submit said certificate to the State of California
Department of Transportation, District No. 7.
Section 4: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoptation.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21 day of April, 2009.
