Holladay Engineering has assumed 2.5 persons per dwelling unit, 100 gallons per day per person, and year-round occupancy. This results in an assumed sewer flow of 91,250 gallons per dwelling unit per year. The City Council has expressed a desire to assume something less than year-round occupancy for new dwelling units. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Provide guidance to staff regarding the residential occupancy assumptions used in the sewer capacity analysis. RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION Meeting Date ACTION 1/27/05 Moved to bring forward the City’s assertion to the Sewer District that the capacity of the winter storage pond would allow an additional 707 equivalent dwelling hookups as a result of assuming a reduced flow rate for part-time residents.
