A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO.
4011.67.985 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PROCESS_ THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on November 4, 2008, the City Council awarded a contract to
S.J. Grigolla Construction in the amount of $92,990.00 for the Sidewalk
Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on December 8, 2008, and was
completed on March 9, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by the LUA funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost of the project is $82,299.60, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final inspection
on March 9, 2009 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the
project plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts The
Sidewalk Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.985 as complete in
accordance with contract documents; and, authorizes the City Engineer to record
the Notice of Completion.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
