SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Anne Abrams from the Idaho State Library has encouraged McCall Public Library, Cascade Public Library, and library supporters from Donnelly to participate in a short term
library advocacy project which would educate Valley County residents on the benefits of libraries. This project ties in with efforts made the last two years by these libraries to promote
the formation of a library district in Valley County.
Funds would be used for media ads, promotional materials, contacts with local service groups and clubs, and a series of special
topic presentations of interest to area residents.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the submission of the grant application and accept funding if awarded.
