SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On December 7, 2004 and January 11, 2005 the Planning & Zoning
Commission conducted public hearings on a request for zoning designation upon annexation for approximately 22 acres for the proposed Fox Ridge subdivision. The property is currently
zoned R-1; the requested zoning designation is a combination of Zone A – Low Density Residential and Zone B – Medium Density Residential. The property is located along May Road, immediately
south of the Payette Lakes Middle School.
The Planning & Zoning Commission recommends that the property be designated Zone A – Low Density Residential if annexed. Attached is a summary
of application and Ordinance 804, annexing the property and implementing the recommended zoning designation. Draft Findings & Conclusions will be provided prior to the Council meeting.
The
complete application is extensive and is not attached to this agenda bill. Both the zoning application and the Fox Ridge subdivision application are available for review in the Community
Development Department.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the draft Findings & Conclusions for ZON–04–7 and authorize the Mayor to sign; and
Suspend the rules and read Ordinance 804 by
title only, one time only;
and
Adopt Ordinance 804
