SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Staff has reviewed City needs and developed a list of recommended expenditures for the General Fund and Streets/Public Works Fund Surplus Fund Balances. The attached list details the
staff recommendation.
A budget amendment will be necessary to appropriate and spend the identified surplus fund balance. If necessary, Contingent Revenue/Contingent Expense could be
used for a portion of the surplus fund balance, without a budget amendment or public hearing.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direct staff to prepare a budget amendment for public hearing,
appropriating surplus fund balance in the General Fund and the Streets/Public Works Funds as identified.
