SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The proposed amendment to the FY 2005 budget appropriates surplus fund balance in the total amount of $539,450 ($453,155
from the General Fund and $86,295 from the Streets/Public Works Fund). Please refer to the attached memorandum for specific projects funded by this appropriation.
For accounting
purposes, the actual amendment will be in the amount of $880,605 since the surplus appropriated in the General Fund will then be transferred as revenue to the Streets/PW ($123,334),
Golf ($15,000), and Sewer ($202,821) Funds. Please refer to the attached memorandum for the detailed transfers.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Leave the Public Hearing open to accept written
comments until April 28, 2005.
