SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The closeout of Airport Improvement
Project #9 (the security fencing) requires a revision to the Airport Layout Plan, reflecting the cumulative recent changes that have occurred on the airport. Primarily, these are the
relocation of public roadways, installation of fencing and access control gates, and hangar construction. Without completing the revision to the Airport Layout Plan, the FAA will not
release the remaining grant funds for AIP #9.
The total cost of the Airport Layout Plan revision is $7,725.30. The City’s share will be $386.27 (5%); the State’s share will be $386.27
(5%); and the Federal share will be $6,952.76 (90%).
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Agreement with Armstrong Consultants, Inc. for a revised Airport Layout Plan and authorize
the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
