SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On April 5, 2005 the Planning & Zoning
Commission conducted public hearings on a request for zoning designation upon annexation for approximately 23.67 acres adjacent to River Ranch. The property is currently zoned R-10;
the requested zoning designation is R5 – Rural Residential.
The Planning & Zoning Commission recommends that the property be designated R5 – Rural Residential if annexed. Attached
is a summary of application and Ordinance 810, annexing the property and implementing the recommended zoning designation. Draft Findings & Conclusions are also attached.
The complete
application is extensive and is not attached to this agenda bill. The complete application is available for review in the Community Development Department.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt
the draft Findings & Conclusions for ZON–05–3 and authorize the Mayor to sign; and
Suspend the rules and read Ordinance 810 by title only, one time only;
and
Adopt Ordinance 810
