SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Airport Manager position was advertised widely
and several well-qualified applicants responded. The City Manager and two members of the Airport Advisory Committee conducted four telephone interviews. The field was further narrowed
and the City Manager conducted two personal interviews, with the Airport Advisory Committee and the public in attendance. In addition, an ‘open house’ was held at McCall Aviation to
allow the public to meet each of the two finalists.
The City Manager has extended a conditional offer of employment to Rick Harvey, subject to Council confirmation. Mr. Harvey’s resume
is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Confirm the City Manager’s appointment of Rick Harvey as the Airport Manager, per McCall City Code 1-9-4(B).
