SUMMARY STATEMENT:
While the City last adopted a schedule of fees for building permits
and related inspections and fees in 2003, City records indicate that these fees have remained the same since 1994 or perhaps earlier. The fee schedule is no longer adequate to reimburse
the costs incurred by the City for reviewing, inspecting, and processing applications for building permits and related building plan review. A sampling of similar communities (attached)
indicates that the current City fees are low in comparison to other communities. The new fee structure would bring McCall’s fees up to a level comparable to these communities.
RECOMMENDED
ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 05-07 approving the recommended Building Permit and Related Inspections and Fees fee structure.
