SUMMARY STATEMENT:
There are several representative or liaison roles that must be filled by a Council member:
• Urban Renewal Agency: 2 Council members serve as voting members of the 7 member Board
• Valley Adams Planning Partnership: One Council member, and an alternate, serves as a
representative of the City.
• Upper Payette River Economic Development Council: One Council member, and an alternate,
serves as a representative of the City.
• West Central Highlands Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) District: One Council
member or staff member serves as a representative of the City.
• Big Payette Lake Watershed Advisory Group: One Council member serves as a
representative of the City. There is also a staff representative.
• Western Idaho Community Action (WICAP): One Council member serves as a representative
of the City.
• The Council may want to consider informal representatives to various advisory committees.
The Airport Advisory Committee, Golf Advisory Committee and McCall Improvement
Committee have all had an informal Council liaison at different times in the past.
• The Council has also occasionally assigned other informal representatives to advisory
committees or other ad -hoc committees, as needed.
Council must also appoint City representatives to:
• Valley County Snowmobile Advisory Board
• Proposed Valley County Regional Housing Authority
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Designate Council representatives to the various agencies and committees, as desired.
