The IRC requires final inspection of a newly constructed swimming pool. According to our records you own a swimming pool that was constructed but has not passed a final inspection. The swimming pool at 707 Jones Avenue failed final inspections on June 19 and June 23, 2008. Enclosed are copies of those inspection reports. On September 9, 2010, a letter regarding this was mailed to Mr. Gary Fogarty. However, a reinspection of the swimming pool has not been requested. It would be a violation of the code for you, your family, or your guests to use the swimming pool. In addition, you would have considerable liability if an accident was to occur and the pool had not been inspected for code compliance. This is a very serious problem. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division administers the rules. Section 5-4-9 Prohibition provides, in part, as follows: (4.)
