SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Gates Foundation is replacing the year 2000 computers they gave to libraries in Idaho. This
process is being spearheaded by the Idaho State Library. Gates will supply $1500 for each
computer that needs to be replaced according to their standards. According to them, we have 2
computers that are eligible for replacement, and we will receive $3000 if our application is
accepted. We must send actual bids with the application, and Dave has supplied this
information.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submission of the application and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
