SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall seeks funding for a deicer/flusher truck to assist in its dust abatement and
street cleaning program. The Idaho Department of Transportation administers federal funding for
the purchase of such vehicles. The City of McCall submitted an air quality analysis to the Idaho
Department of Environmental Quality on 12/1/05 and received approval from IDEA to submit a
full application to ITD for the purchase of the truck. Matching requirements are 7.34% and the
truck is expected to cost approximately $198,000 in FY09.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submission of the CMAQ application, adopt Resolution 06-03, and authorize the
Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
