SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce has submitted an application to obtain a permit for
conducting a fireworks display in connection with the Fourth of July. The Chamber has executed
an agreement with Elite Pyrotechnics, LLC for conducting the display over Payette Lake. Fire
Captain Garrett DeJong reviewed the proposal from Elite Pyrotechnics, LLC with the Chamber of
Commerce and has recommended approval for the permit. Police Chief Jerry Summers has also
reviewed the Chamber's application and recommends approval. Elite Pyrotechnics, LLC
provided the City with a certificate of insurance evidencing liability coverage for personal injury
and property damage in the amount of $1,000,000 and naming the City as an additional insured.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the fireworks display permit for the Chamber of Commerce and authorize the
Mayor to sign.
