HomeMy Public PortalAbout085-2001 - Grant - Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne CountyORDINANCE NO. 85 - 2001 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE WAYNE COUNTY WHEREAS, The Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Police Department desires to submit a grant application to assist with the costs associated for purchasing additional hand held radar units for the Traffic Division; and WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: The Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Partnership for a Drug Free Wayne County to assist with the costs associated for purchasing additional hand held radar units for the Traffic Division. The Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Two Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($2,175.00).
