CITY DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 92 -1136 AND ZONE VARIANCE 92 -1137, TO ALLOW A NEW CHURCH USE IN AN EXISTING 17,700 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING WITH 59 PROPOSED PARKING STALLS, 15 OF WHICH WILL BE COMPACT STALLS, RATHER THAN THE REQUIRED 135 PARKING STALLS AT 9094 LAS TUNAS DRIVE IN THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL (C -2) ZONE. (MUSTARD SEED LIN LEUNG CHURCH) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the City Council and upon the facts contained in the staff report and testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the Planning Commission and findings enumerated in the Planning Commission Resolution No. 92- 1456PC, the City Council denies the request. SECTION 2. Accordingly, Conditional Use Permit 92 -1136 and Zone Variance 92 -1137 is denied. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON JUNE 16, 1992.
