RESOLUTION NO. 92 -3167
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLEC-
TION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992 -93
WITHIN THE CITY -WIDE LIGHTING AND MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING ACT OF 1972
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City did on
the 2nd of June, 1992, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 92-
3150 to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal Year 1992 -93 within
the City -Wide Lighting and Maintenance District, which Resolution
No. 92 -3150 was duly and legally published in the time, form and
manner as required by law, shown by the Proof of Publication of
said Resolution of Intention on file in the Office of the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received and considered
evidence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts
in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplat-
ed work and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said City
Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed
assessment.
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Temple City that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby
approved; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the public interest
and convenience requires the ordering of the levy and collection of
assessments for Fiscal Year 1992 -93, and said City Council hereby
orders levy and collection of assessments within the City -Wide
Lighting and Maintenance District, as set forth and described in
said Resolution No. 92 -3167 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this
Resolution constitutes the levy of the assessments as set forth in
the Engineer's Report for the Fiscal Year 1992 -93.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to file a certified copy of the diagram and assessment with the
County Auditor of the County of Los Angeles not later than the
third Monday in August.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 1992.
I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify that
the foregoing Resolution, Resolution No. 92 -3167 was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 7th day of July, 1992 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Breazeal,Budds,Wilson,Manning.
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember- McGowan
