SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The community is about to embark upon an update of the McCall Area Comprehensive Plan. The
planning effort will be overseen by a Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. Staff has
prepared a draft list of members of the Committee and has reviewed the list with the Mayor and
the County Clerk. Staff recommends that the 5 "at large" members be appointed after receiving
input from the other members of the Committee at their first meeting on August 22.
A timeline for the comprehensive plan, a memorandum explaining the steering committee's role,
and a draft list of committee members are attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the memorandum explaining the role of the Comprehensive Plan Steering
Committee and authorize the Mayor to appoint the membership.
