ORDINANCE NO: 558
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THECOMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, A public hearing was convened on the matter of amendment of the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Bel Aire on December 11, 2014, by the planning
Commission for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas in conformance with the requirements setforth in K.S.A. l2-7a7b);
WHEREAS, Notice of the public hearing was published at least once in the offrcial city
newspaper, appearing on November 20,2014:
WHEREAS, Following the public hearing the Planning Commission adopted aResolution by a majority vote of all members approving the amendment of the
Comprehensive Plan, such Resolution identifying specificallyany written presentations,
maps, plats, charts or other materials made a part of such plan;
WHEREAS, A certified copy of the plan has been submitted to the Governing Body forits review, including any written presentations, maps, plats, charts or othei materials
made a part of such plan;
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas has submitted a
written swnmary of the public hearing.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF
THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Governing Body hereby adopts the recommendation of the Bel Aire
Planning Commission and approves the amendment of the Comprehensive plan.
SECTION 2: AII ordinances or parts of ordinances
repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect
publication in the Ark Valley News, an official city
in conflict herewith are herebv
and be in force from and after its
newspaper.
Passed by the City Council this 20n day of January, 2015.
Approved by the Mayor this 20th day of January,2015.
