AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH CME ASSOCIATES-
CARTERET WATERFRONT PARK, PHASE II -C
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
services in connection with the preparation of survey and site work for the
Carteret Waterfront Park, Phase II -C; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 3141 Bordentown Avenue, Parlin, New Jersey 08859,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total
cost not to exceed $45,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. The proposal from CME Associates for engineering services related to the
preparation of survey and site work for the Carteret Waterfront Park, Phase II-C,
at a total cost not to exceed $45,000.00 is hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant
to N.J.S.A 40A: 11-5(1)(a);
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department
and CME Associates.
Adopted this 10th day of November, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 11, 2005.
