SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall installed a Geographic Information System (ArcGIS 9.1) in October 2005. The
new software allows the City to produce static maps and perform spatial analysis. The
Community Development Department will provide free PDF maps accessible on the City website.
Larger versions of maps will be made available for those interested in purchasing standard maps.
The proposed prices are based on research comparing similar communities with GIS systems
and services (attached). Similarly, the fee structure is also based on estimates for producing
maps. The intent of the fees is to cover the cost of the resources used to produce the maps.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 06-05 approving the recommended resolution for the standardized GIS
maps fee structure.
