SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In revising the Alcohol Beverage License Chapters in the McCall City Code, staff determined that
the section of the City Code regarding possession of open containers would be more
appropriately placed in a different Chapter of the Code. Therefore staff recommends that a new
Subchapter F Section 610 and 620 of Chapter 6 of Title 5 POSSESSION OF OPEN
CONTAINERS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE DRIVING AND/OR AS A PASSENGER IN
OR UPON A MOTOR VEHICLE AND FOR A PENALTY be enacted.
This ordinance is being proposed in conjunction with Ordinance No. 829 changing the Alcohol
License Code and should be adopted after the adoption of Ordinance No. 829.
Attached is Ordinance No. making that change.

Suspend the rules, read by title only, one time only
