SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The purpose of the proposed agreement is to provide training and monitoring to protect
personnel from lead exposure during activities in the former firing range room, and to advise and
assist the City in reducing potential lead exposure at other building areas via lead dust migration
from the former firing range room.
The overall goal of firing range rehab is to provide storage space for records and materials.
The project for which this agreement is requested was planned and budgeted for FY06 but faced
a number of delays.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Agreement with Torf Environmental Management, Inc., for Firing Range
Remodeling & Lead Hazard Consulting and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
