FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS IN SUPPORT
OF RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
1. A petition for approval of a Special Use was
presented for public hearing on May 19, 1992 by City of
McCall, as owner of
That certain parcel of land described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block
5, Timberlost Subdivision V, as shown on the
official plat thereof on file in the office of the
Recorder of Valley County, Idaho, in Book 7 of
Plats, at Page 20;
thence N. 89° 49' 10" W. a distance of 10.5 feet
to the real point of beginning, a point on the on
the westerly section line of Section 10, T. 18 N.,
R. 3 E., B. M.;
thence S. 89° 49' 10" E. a distance of 235.88 feet
to a 5/8" rebar monument;
thence S. 24° 00' 00" W. a distance of 327.24 feet
to a 5/8" rebar monument;
thence N. 76° 00' 00" W. a distance of 95.83 feet
to a 5/8" rebar monument;
thence continuing N. 76° 00' 00" W. to a point on
such westerly section line;
thence N. 0° 08' 40" E. along such westerly
section line of Section 10 to the point of
beginning;
to permit construction and use of a golf cart storage
facility in accord with preliminery plans submitted for
approval.
2. The stiorage of golf carts is a traditional activity
on the City golf course, but not at this location.
3. The proposed building was a long, low utility -style
building, reminiscent of mini -storage or industrial warehouse
buildings.
4. The proposed construction would have an adverse
impact upon the neighborhood.
5. The Commission concludes that the proposed land use
was in conformity to the requirements of the ordinance,
namely that the use is in fact one contemplated by the
