SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a new retainer agreement with White Peterson for City Attorney services. The
monthly retainer amount increases from $5,000 to $5,600. Hourly rates on other matters remain
the same as the current agreement. The term of the Agreement is from December 1, 2006
through September 30, 2007. There are no other changes to the Agreement.
This increase in the monthly retainer is consistent with the increased volume and complexity of
the workload. This increase is included within the adopted FY07 budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Agreement with White Peterson for City Attorney services and authorize the
Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
